Combofix.org is a known unauthorized site. I would definitely not support that link.

Ryan not to be rude but in Matt’s video of Combofix http://www.Combofix.org is not a legitimate download site for the real Combofix application and his post clearly says DO NOT Attempt to download Combofix from other sites OTHER THAN BleepingComputer.com & ForoSpyware.com

kittyfix?

RHE December 18, 2009 at 2:50 pm

I guess it’s a reference to the program icon, and the fact that is a beta…

KittyFix better not be the new name for combofix thats just stupid they better change the name back to combofix or at least come up with something better than KittyFix

ahopf December 18, 2009 at 7:19 pm

They should rename KittyFix.exe ComboFixClassic.exe or IFC.exe (Improved ComboFix.exe)

Combofix is back and it is not named Kittyfix

malwarekilla January 5, 2010 at 2:16 am

Yep, I’m using it right now. Seems to be a bit more effective.

Me too, just killed me a nasty rootkit with it
