Hire Me!

I’ve been performing remote appointments in CA, AZ and NY for a few weeks now and they seem to be working out pretty well.  Anyway, check out my remote services.

Nice – and the pricing is right where it should be. This might be the best way to monetize the site. I’d put a banner at the top of all your pages and really push this service.

We have a team of people in our main office that just does remote stuff for our customers. It’s a pretty nice little service. Our customers pay us a monthly fee and we give them unlimited tech support via phone, remote and email. This excludes the necessary onsite services, but those can be had at a discount with the service plan.

@rescuenerds – thanks man, that’s a great idea. The pricing keeps the crazy’s away and anyone who is willing to pay my normal rate is happy with the end result.

    Matt,

I just advised a friend this morning to contact you for remote help.

Hope I can steer folks to you in the future!

Can you do the bootable antivirus thing remotely. Or at least walk them thru it? I think that is what my friend needs.

Hi, I hope it goes well for you. I was woundering what software you use to connect to your customers and what you use to remove their malware over a live seession, Do you use your “secret weapon”, i am gussing you cannot use a live cd (correct me if i am wrong). I would be great to see a video of your live sessions and how it all works.

Sounds interesting, but I can’t imagine it being very thorough. You can’t run a bootable CD and the computer has to be web connected (high speed). The first rule of malware removal, especially in Windows, is to unplug it from the net.

Sounds great! If I ever have any problems related to malware I’ll contact you. :)

I recommend you add a disclaimer that if you are unsuccessful and make the client system worse (data irretrievable, FYI) then you are not liable and released from all liability. Get a lawyer to review to make sure you are covered in your State.
