I had about an hour tonight to start my Malwarebytes Realtime testing. In this test I wanted to see how much malware Malwarebytes could remove with its realtime scanner, however I ran into a little snag…the engine wouldn’t start. I tried a re-install but that didn’t resolve it. I’ll give it another shot tomorrow.

Perhaps some malware damaged it ?
@lala – oh, that would explain it then. My second test is pretty much the same result.
@darius – that seems logical. I’ve encountered rootkits that prevent the free version from even installing.
