I emailed KIS support about the 64bit (vista 64) sandbox question and it looks like it may support IE Sandboxing after all. A sandboxed browser is really the only thing 90% of us really care about anyway. Check out their response below:
Functionality of certain applications launched on computers running Microsoft Windows Vista x64 is limited when operating in the safe mode. If such applications are started, the corresponding message will be displayed on the screen if you have configured the notifications about the Application functionality is limited in safe mode event.

c/p: from Kaspersky website not sure what the limitaitons are.
Operating Systems
* Microsoft Windows XP, all editions (Service Pack 2 and higher)
* Microsoft Windows Vista, all editions (32/64 bit)
Please Note: Safe Run Mode doesn’t work with Microsoft Windows XP x64, and works with limitations on Microsoft Windows Vista x64
@Michael – I wish they could elaborate on these limitations.
From Kaspersky forums:
“Sandbox functionality is limited on 64 bit systems and so crashes are to be expected. It is only fully supported on a 32 bit OS.”.
It looks like it CAN be run on 64bit systems but it can crash (and it IS crashing).
Here is the topic: http://forum.kaspersky.com/index.php?showtopic=123150&mode=linear
im sure they will work on it its a new thing to the product so im sure in time they will have it fixed.
I saw on their forums that they’ll soon release some maintenance pack.
