    Chrome had only one letdown… Can’t it check to see if the website is bad before downloading anything?

  • languy99

    FireFox and chrome should partner with virus total like you say in your video because virus total has already analyzed tons of files and google might even let virus total host on their servers. That way it makes VT more reliable and faster and google gets to use their data base.

    Great performance of chrome on identifying the mlicious sites, but its sad to see it can find infected .exe files.

    Anyway i checked that whether Comodo finds the .exe files as malware which chrome missed and it did perfectly. Cheers.

    @elliotcroft – yeah, FireFox is pretty much the same.

    @languy99 – man I soooo wish.

  • malwarekilla

    @Cloud_Shadow – yup, looks like IE8 has a lock on that feature for now.

  • elliotcroft

    Firefox does have a virus scanner, if you look at the download box it does say “scanning for viruses”

  • elliotcroft

    Just found out that it is useless for this test as you need a compatible antivirus scanner installed.
