    Thanks for the video and CIS review!
    Looking your tests with comodo I got a doubt:
    New Comodo Antivirus alone would perform as weel as it performed bundled with Internet Security in your tests with malware links?
    I got very surprised with new Comodo Antivirus performance!
    What’s in your opinion is going on?
    What about a review with new Comodo Antivirus alone?

    Matt I liked this review but I have to say those links were just unlucky ;)

    @Victor: I think that Matt said the best things on comodo are his DEFENSE + and SandBox (now) and I think people should only worry about that cuz the antivirus probably is not even going to be used if you are using the Sandbox and DEFENSE + together :)

    I doubt he’ll test Panda. It used to be good. It still is effective but it is cumbersome. Why would you pay for panda now that there are so many good free alternatives (like comodo)

    Comodo has been busting its tail the last year or so rewriting all the signatures – they have been developing generic signatures to speed things up and have increased effectiveness at the same time. You are just starting to see the fruit of their labor. Secondly Matt enabled the Comodo DNS proxy on his install – it was blocking some of the files from even reaching his machine in the first place.

    @Brent: Panda CLOUD is free, not cumbersome at all, and one of the lightest av with a high rate of detection. I think you misread and thought Thomas was referring to the IS suite.
