You can download it from torrent sites.
Thats what i did :p -> TAKE THAT MICROSOFT .
I hate microsoft cuz they should be trying to make vista better for those of us who bought it instead of trying to make money and leaving vista users to continue to use a shitty OS.

Yes, “take that Microsoft”. Maybe, what you’ll get is a “vulnerable” Windows 7. That’s what you get from illegal share. There’s no free charity over those places.

ankit January 8, 2009 at 8:19 pm

Lol, its not a ‘vulnerable’ windows 7. Its the official build 7000 i downloaded.
i dont want to be taught on how to determine whether something is ‘vulnerable’ without facts/logic. If you present your opinion or preferably a fact , at least support it with some justifiable claims.
Thanks, and read twice before you press the ’submit’ button.

Just as Windows 98 was the largest Service Pack ever sold and Windows XP was released to compensate for the dismal failure of Windows ME, Windows 7 = Vista 2009 :)

It’ll be interesting to see how many copies are sold given the current and future dire state of the world economic climate – wouldn’t it be ironic if MS released a responsive, virtually bug free, rock-solid OS for once and no one actually has the money on hand to buy it?

Crap Crap Crap. I think that was the same quote they said when Vista came out.

Total B.S.

Yeah I met the program manager of Windows 7 he used to go to our school. It was funny asking him questions. He had windows 7 running on his laptop. Looks identical to vista almost. Of course its now touch screen/ mouse.

shut up windows 7 is going to be obviously better as they have taken certain things out of vista and certain things out of xp that perform better i wish they would take luna out and put it in there :( oh well

i think it will be better because of this reason

@ ankit

My bad. When I first read your post, it was what I understood. That, in fact, you downloaded it from, the already more than known, usual torrent sites.

Here, you’ll never get anything for “free”.

Actually there is a known vulnerability in a previous release of Windows 7 Beta, which, in turn, those everyone may find in torrent sites, did pose and will always pose real threats.

Then people get surprised – How did this happen to me?

The same old story. I’m teaching you anything. If you’re more than capable from knowing what you do, then you’re also more than capable from knowing what may come from your very own actions. :)

Regards

To put it simply, Windows 7 is Vista without the s***

Joshua Bishop January 16, 2009 at 11:01 pm

Well I have it installed now and its very nice, stable and fast.
Im very pleased with the increase in fps i got although Vista gave me an increase over xp as well.
Btw 99% of the people who actualy have Vista that i know dont seem to dont mind it.
It funny the people biting about it the most used it for a week or never have in most cases.

ComputerHelpGuy1 January 22, 2009 at 8:52 pm

I have Windows 7 dual booted with Windows Vista. And by the way, Matt, how many customers do you see with Windows Vista?

joshua January 22, 2009 at 9:26 pm

I base my opinion on my day to day job, I work for a Mobile/broadband company and speak too and see 50 plus customers a day. Prior to that I worked for lloyds tsb in there it helpdesk, and I actualy supported Vista in a company beta test 6 months before general release.
