IE8 Anti-Malware Study from NSS Labs

I have personally tested IE8 and it’s my favorite browser when it comes to security, however I can’t understant why NSS Labs keeps releasing “a study” on how secure IE8 is when Microsoft is sponsoring the NSS study?  What’s the point in all this?

Pssst…we don’t care about your test results when MS is sponsoring them.  Lame.

    Well, the same logic can be applied to the browser speed benchmarks such as Sunspider. Yet many people trust these kinds of tests, I wonder why. Oh, I figured it out, Sunspider was made by Apple and not by MS.

    Only lame thing is that everyone are complaining over whatever MS sponsorship. Just because it’s MS and just because it’s IE.
    You’ve seen it yourself. Out of all of them, IE8 was by far the best browser when it comes to security. We’re not talking web standards support which still sucks, but security wise it’s really really good. The only problem is that the mass is still on pathetic IE6.
    If they’d all switch to IE8, the world would be so much better…
