You should try Zonealarm, heard it uses the same engine as kaspersky (not really sure though)

Jonas November 5, 2008 at 7:19 pm

I agree with James, try Zonealarm, yes, ZoneAlarm use Kasperskys Antivirus engine.

Emperor Darius November 5, 2008 at 8:29 pm

@Jonas, you are right, Zone Alarm uses the Kaspersky 6 engine(like F-Secure)

Would you review Norton 360? The current version (v3) was updated with the IS 2009 engine, so I really would like to see how Norton 360 does. Thank you very much and stay as you are, you do a fantastic job!

Hi Matt,

Would you review Malware Defender 2.3.1 (http://www.torchsoft.com/en/md_information.html)

Thanks,

David July 29, 2009 at 5:37 pm

Would you be able to review Symantec Endpoint Protection (SEP) 11.0.x? I am interested in seeing how a corporate solution compares to these free solutions. I have not been too happy with SEP and I find other stuff catches more than it can.

Thanks

why dont u do bitdefender 2010 its been out for a week or 2

max September 6, 2009 at 4:53 pm

Hey mat! Love your reviews! can you plz test outpost security pro. TO me there is nothing better since there is no footprint just protection and speed! I also use sandboxie with this and dont see a need for anything else.Browser FF WOT Addblock.Even if it misses a few which I hope it doesnt I would not ever change a thing thats what sandboxie is for. speed of surf and fast computing should go hand and hand with security.

Max September 8, 2009 at 5:04 pm

Mat! whats up! I have seen the comodo review very nice app and its free!was wondering if you would consider testing just the fire wall since you can opt out of av and see just defense+ at work and if it does same job it will cut down on memory and processes.

lee September 13, 2009 at 5:43 am

Maybe a re-review on Vipre, I’d like to see if Sunbelt worked out some of the issues that you had with it in your original review.

Also, maybe Bitdefender AV 2010.

AHOPF October 6, 2009 at 12:14 am
