I’m hard core NOD32 fan last 7 years ( & reseller) & i need to say that it’s overall one of the best but not as “one solution for every problem, ever”. Karspersty has done a lot of miracles what i was thinking was not possible but same time Karspersky has destroyed many of my client windows systems also by deleting or “repairing” some system files a way that system will not boot up again. Also scanning seems to be way slower sometimes & CPU usage higher.
But yea, this is good review. Nod is not best tool for malware for sore, i noticed this my self lately again when i installed nod32 to my client computer & there was a lot of malware running. After taking most of the things off from MSconfig & rebooting it cleaned up most, but running even free tool like spybot i found a lot more.
… and i am not sore what happened but soon my client called me and told that hes computer started to have a lot of popups again and now its not booting up at all… so i need to take look of that
Hey, one other thing… i haven’t noticed nod32 freezing on normal pc jet (after 7 years)…its not related to virtual system right? Of course i manually usually kill most of the tasks in taskmanager (if they are not vital) as soon as i see them making trouble.
Keep up the good work!
& can u make other one whit Eset Smart Security? Their firewall should? stop most of the crap updating and i have seen good results whit that.
And can we ask how clean was pc after u delete the trouble file & the full scan was performed?
And how do you ensure that your infection is near the same for all tests, you also told that you have 100 some malware there, how did you count that?
Can you provide the links for infection so we can test it also?
