I dont know whether SB is better than DW,but I know they are both great apps to defend your computer.Personally I think DW probably is a little easier to work with,but its small stuff.
Long time I have been solid fan of Kaspersky,and I still think Kaspersky and Avira (premium)( Emsisoft too), is some of the best signature based antivirus agents outthere.Its just those combos eat alot of resources,because you will need a good HIPS firewall too.
The last 4 weeks I have used a combo of Prevx 3.0 and Sandboxie.Nothing I have thrown at it has gone thru,and the combination take so little resources.Very nice.Me think I have found my future combo.

Sandboxie is way better than Defensewall. The latter causes occasional weird slow downs. Sandboxie is leaner, cleaner and much more granular.

@alex u must be doing something wrong with sandboxie.

if u have set the sandboxie configurations properly…

after browsing all u ever need to do is close it and bam! no traces of malware or even ur browsing cache will be left behind in the sandbox.

I had high hopes for SandBoxie BUT.
I installed it the first time and everthing seemed to go well, But later I noticed that all of my system restore points were gone. I blamed it on something else and spent several weeks uninstalling, cleaning and house keeping.
During this time I have created numerous restore points and have not lost a single one………
Today I started reinstalling various programs. I continued creating a new System Restore Point both before and after each program installed. Then I reinstalled SandBoxie.
AND THERE THE PROBLEM HAPPENED – - AFTER SANDBOXIE WAS INSTALLED EVERY SYSTEM RESTORE POINT WAS REMOVED.

I can’t understand why and NO for warning……….

With Sandboxie you can run not only your browser but you can run Windows Explorer, e-mail reader or any other program you want sandboxed. Sandboxie also adds to Windows explorer a option ” Run sandboxed” so you can ran any program you want in the sandbox. And oh Sandboxie is free to try for 30 days , after that it appears a nag screen to buy a license , nah the developer needs to get some support from you , but you can use for as long as you want Sandboxie with the nag screen when it starts no other limitations.
