I’ve had quite a few people here in Saint Louis install Spyhunter this year only to call me saying…”well I have antispyware but I keep having a lot popups”. When I ask them to show me what antispyware they are using it’s Spyhunter (in these dozen or so cases).
The company that sells Spyhunter also run a lot of other sites that give out instructions on how to remove malware, but suggest to do so you need to install Spyhunter and purchase it to remove those infections….kinda shady…smells sorta roguey. 
There were 2 cases in which Spyhunter removed system files in vista causing a complete corruption of vista (after seeing that I decided to write this post).
My advice is to avoid Spyhunter just based on my personal dealings with it. I’m not the only one, check out this extensive test on Spyhunter.
