Vipre: The Day After Video

I just took a look at my PC with Vipre protecting it, here is what I found.

So I guess, its 4 stars for VIPRE ….
I expected more from Sunbelt, esp. with all the hype.

thanks for the review matt^^ altough vipre didin’t removed everyting you can see that sunbel’s team is realy trying to make there software better.

@Robin – I agree, Sunbelt is a “class act” when it comes to personal product support. I’m hoping these set’s of videos gives them a real world view on malware (even though I’m sure they’ve done tests like this).

@VJ – 3/4…I’m still deciding. The fact that iexplorer is launching by itself under the winlogon.exe process is truly worrisome. Vipre heuretics should be able to see that this is a malware based application initiation….but I’m no programmer… :)

Just curious, are you ever going to test whitelisting programs or HIPS?

did you enable that VIPRE asks you in case it discover susppicius file?
Did you turn realtime scanner to HIGH?
