    i have all ready tested it and some you tubers have i have it downloaded it looks like it has a massive detection rate so far every one was testing it and it looks like it blocked every thing that was they though at it if they stick with this product security concumers will have some problems microsoft security essentials seems to run smoothly on my computer even though it is a beta software i think its redy to be released to the public i think its a great product im sure it will be targeted soon though by malware

    It works really good its speedy and not in the way like the others but it has a kinda big memory usage i dont know if it became that way after I did the first scan after updating. 8,75Mb in ad and remove programs the smalest size ive seen so far :D (maybe gets bigger in the future still beta) :3
    im goin to use this from now on until i get convinsed to change.

    its dection in removal is not that great but the prevention in the product chances are if you have it running on your computer and its up to date you will not be infected by any thing! the prevention just gose beond others, but they need to work on there removal detection but who am i to say its just a beta im sure they will work on it lol.

    On my computer its using pretty much ram, about 60 mb. And from time to time the cpu usage goes up to almost 100%.

    wow….40 for 40…perfecto!!! I really feel sorry for any commercial anti-virus companies trying to sell to home users….it’s over…

    I can figure out MSE has a better malware rate detection than Avira.
    But comparing MSE to Avira, which one do you think consume more computer resources?

    lol mse blows avira away on the beta version lol wait till it comes out on release then it will destroy it. the only problem with it how ever is its updateing i keep getting an error message dose any one else get this while they up date mse?

    Dark, I think you can download it and use it,doesnt matter where you live I live in Sweden and it works fine for me.

    Ryan, Nope I get no errors whatsoever and it runs really smooth/good.
    Hey they made the operating system they must know how it works the best whitout slowing things down.
    Its like a upgraded version of windows defender but has extremly better virus/malware database.

    I went to the website for the Beta yesterday, and I got stuck on the Microsoft connect page. I think there were too many people trying to access that feature at one time.

    The downside is, the BETA now appears to be closed as of today, so anyone who missed out on yesterday’s launch will have to wait just a while longer until Microsoft will allow more testers. Seeing as how well it performed under Matt’s tests, I can’t wait to get this program on my PC.

    I can’t get it and I live in the UK…MS say it’s only available for ‘United States, Israel (English only), People’s Republic of China (Simplified Chinese only) and Brazil (Brazilian Portuguese only).’. I’m just using an american proxy, suckers
