Tried To Review Spybot Search and Destroy Beta Last Night

by malwarekilla on November 21, 2008

…but it wouldn’t scan.  I downloaded the last stable version and it seams to be working fine.  I’m hoping to get the review uploaded tonight.

UPDATE – Friday 9:31 PM CST – I’m working on a Windows 2003 to 2008 migration at an office tonight, tomorrow and sunday so I’m running a bit behind on my weekly reviews. Sorry!

I think spybot installs and updates in safe mode like mbam.It would be easier to scan this way.

@Vasilis – the last stable version seems to work in whatever mode, however the beta won’t even load.

I’m sure Spybot will NEED to be run a safemode for some malware removal.

Ye,that’s true.From the oldies,I think that Spybot is better in prevention,and Adware in cleaning.But we’ll see :-)
