    I love your videos and use them frequently. THANKS!!

    Right now I am working on a Compaq laptop that has trojan.vundo.

    Initially I ran MBAM…it found 58 of those viruses.

    I went to safe mode…ran RKILL…removed Win\sys32\userinit.exe.

    At restart…it started the reboot loop and frequently turns off. Will not go to safe mode. Will not boot from DrWeb Live CD. No software to reinstall.

    Is there a fix?? HOURS I have worked.

    Try a system restore if possible to a point that you knowis safe. press f8 on startup to launch startup repair as removing the threats could have corrupted the system files.

    I downloaded Geswall & installed it on my windows 7 64 bit computer but it never loaded in the system tray. Does it not work with the 64 bit version?

    I’ve got a fresh copy of Windows 7 only with core programs installed.

    so far geswall doesnt support windows 7 64bit. it did the same thing to me when i tried. when 3.0 comes out (if it ever does) it will support 64bit Operation Systems.

    @Michelle Have you tried Kaspersky Rescue Disk? Matt said in the “Cleaning the Client” video that he had problems with Dr Web. Search up Kaspersky Rescue Disk on Google to find it.

    Hi Matt, I’m a big fan of your reviews and I’ve watched all your videos on the different applications to use to remove malware, so i chose to to use the free ones like malwarebytes superantisyware, spybot, avast and Microsoft security essentials and they all work well but what if after i remove the viruses my PC is still slow and unresponsive sometimes, another thing that bothers me is that certain tools that i know should be working, such as the Microsoft windows update doesn’t get the necessary updates to help keep my computer clean and running smoothly i mean some error or another always comes up and i always end up googling the code to see what it means but i don’t usually understand the results so what am i suppose to do when this happens reformatting is not an option for me thanks
