Video Review Format – What Do You Guys Prefer?

Matt wrote:Ok, I’m resuming my video review career (see my latest youtube channel comment) and I’m thinking about the reviews from the ground up. At this moment I have 1 question for everyone:

Would you prefer 3-4 seperate videos (like install, config, live malware testing, etc) per review or just a single long video?

Personally, I think I’ll shoot separate videos and edit them all together (instead of just pausing and resuming the video) or I can just upload them separately.

Watcha think?

Matt's videos have gotten too long. Who wants to watch an 40 minute YouTube video. All people really care about is how it performs. No one needs to be shown and install and config. Show how it performs. Thats what really matters.

I find all of the content to be useful depending on the program so long or short broken-up doesn't really matter, but if I had to choose then I would say the short ones cause I don't always care about install or config or what not.

All Matt needs to do is read his YouTube comments and take that advice. Everything he needs to know is right in front of him. There are several comments saying "Not another 35 minute video where Matt talks about his dogs and family then gets back to business". Matt first generation videos where great. Then they starting getting long and drawn out. My KIS video was about 10 minutes and it got more hots in 24 hours then most videos. Matt needs to get back to the basics.

I vote for the single videos.
This is why YouTube blessed us with the ability to jump back and forth in the videos. If the viewer doesn't care about a part of the review, they can skip it.
If the reviews are split into several, the channel will be cluttered in no time.
I'm a PC. I like the unpredictability.

Have one video explain the program and how to configure properly and how to use it, and make second video of already installed program how it performs against malware.... And no more than 10 minutes. My opinion...

I prefer a long video, because we don't have to deal with switching it every 10 minutes. I understand why some people would prefer shorter sectionalized videos, it's just my opinion.

People just care about how it performs. It doesn't take 35 minutes to show users that. Making two videos will only benefit Matt. One video of install/config. and the other about testing. For those who dont care about the install or config they can skip that video and move onto part 2 which is the actually testing against malware.

I would prefer broken up videos. Seeing a video that's 30-40 mins long puts me off.

Hey everybody, this is Matt with Remove-Malware.com and tonight, I'm gonna make a video, oh basically just showing XYZ how to install, configure and use it in general, and on my second video, I will show you how it performs against actual malware. I am sorry I didn't make much videos in the past, I was moving stuff around my house and my neighbor's dog been barking all night, couldn't sleep. And then there was this guy who got his pc so infected I had to stay awake whole night. I am so tired. Anyway, this product is, oh sorry, my phone's ringing....
....
....
....
Sorry, it was one of my clients... Anyway, this is what my room looks like now. I painted it blue, my wife loves it. As you can see, this program looks awesome, I love it.
