Moderators

Postby sdalgl72 » Sat Dec 26, 2009 7:53 am

Just an idea as there has been so much unrest in here of late, with regular posters not happy with the moderation and a few other things.

Perhaps in the interest of fairness that maybe you should appoint one of these individuals in order to see how that goes.

I would like to stress that I am NOT saying any of you are doing a bad job just wondering whether it could restore the peace within an amazing forum

There are only 2 people who are complaining and those are the individuals who refuse to follow the rules. Plain and simple. Why is it so hard for people to follow the rules. Read them. Respect them. Then everything will go smoothly. You are one of those people. I am sorry but all this whining needs to be stopped. The only unrest is caused my members who think they can do as the please and ignore the rules Matt has laid out. Well I am sorry to say but Matt makes the rules and us Mods enforce them. If everybody read the rules then this thread wouldn't be necessary along with your Goodbye thread. Look at Ryan and liljj2009. Perfect examples of members who respect this forum and follow rules.

That would not be fairness because those individuals would only try to set out and prove a point by not moderating things that obviously need to be moderated.

I do like this forum and care about it. The statement above is clear and understood and I thank all of you moderators doing a great job but may I ask a request? Can you be little more professional whenever you respond to the forum members.

How about creating moderator forum rules? A lot of forums have mod rules. That should solve everyone's problems. ;)

We have mod rules.

I also don't see why people keep bringing this up.

Also, we have peace, there were only two people having problems. Anyway, only Matt can change things and he isn't around here.

We tried that and some mod (banned now ;) ) tried to take advantages of that. Members should forget that they are in front of their PC's and act like they were talking face-to-face. If some members don't know yet there are some rules also in the real world that you will be judged by when you talk to someone...... :o

If you can't convince them, confuse them.
The last thing I want to do is insult you. But it IS on the list.

Very true Virtu, but when people talk they don't try to make every sentence meaningful. If we posted like we talked we would fill up this forum with nonsense. When you post, make it count.
