I have installed Webroot Secure Anywhere Essentials on one of my computer and it is not a resource hog like the old Webroot was. It's really lite and very fast. It's new and I got a year license for it (got it as a gift) so I'll play around with it and see what it does. ;)

I have very good experience with Prevx and the new Webroot Secure anywhere.I have not been here a long time because of a certain moderator, but almost since I left I have used Prevx 220 on one of my computers (XP machine with PC tools firewall) and Secure anywhere on my new one,and IMO it performs like the best outthere.I only use Windows 7 own firewall on the new,and I have not been touched by anything (4 attacks that was taken by SA).I use Sandboxie, just to be on the safe side when I visit strange places, but thats not often.MBAM to on demand scannings.
What attract me so much to (especially Secure anywhere) is its exstremely low ressource footprint, and the good detection. Its still new,but I think it could be very interesting for many, when they see the detection rate, and experience the ressource footprint. 8-)

Hi all,
Been a while since I've been here but my Norton has expired and when seeing my mate using Secure Anywhere while away with him. I thought I would give it a try and to be honest it does exactly what I want it to. I have to admit all Norton has picked up is tracking cookies and haven't had a problem so detection isn't a great worry for me and on average on the trial I've been running its only been using 4mb of ram.

I thought Norton was light this is even lighter don't even know its there.

I've been using the combo of WSA Essentials and MBAM Pro for about 6 months now, and I love it! One of my old computer runs faster then ever with WSA. Webroot also has Excellent Fast Customer Service on their Forum. 100% improvement from the old Webroot CS :D

I have used Webroots SecureAnyway for some time now,and I am hooked.I tried to throw 10 bad adr.after it,and it blocked all of them. One of them took over 5 min.before SA reacted.I guess it was conferring with the cloud. But this is really a good security suite. It only use a little over 600 kb in the joblist when I look.Fantastic.No more slow computers and still a great detection of malware. :)
