Real time protection- Microsoft Security Essentials
Spyware/on demand scanner-Mbam,spyware doctor,and SAS
Firewall-Online armor
Internet-Internet Explorer 8
OS-Windows XP

Screen shot would be nice. You can have up to 15 or so svchost. But if you see SVCHOST in caps then thats a problem. Use Process Explorer and you can see what every svchost belongs to.

I have 11 svchosts running right now when I click "all users".

well dieselman when i used process explorer their was one orange one that was a svchost and was a wmiprvse.exe is that bad all the other process i know that are good

wmiprvse.exe is part of the Windows Security Center. Simply Google it and you will get your answer. So yes its safe.
