Something keeps on happening to my PC, what shall I do?

Well, there is something wrong with my PC. When ever I am on the internet browser which is Mozilla Firefox, for some reason some odd pop ups keep on showing even though I do not want them. I have pop up bloker on meaning that no pop ups should show up however, they just keep on showing and what shall I do. My PC is also running slower than it used to be. Is it some malware. I have got an anti-virus which is Northon Anti-virus 360 Online. I have scanned for viruses however, it did not find any. Is there any free software which I could download that will cure this problem.

It's possible that you could have an adware infection. Download both SUPERAntiSpyware and Malwarebytes then do a scan with both of them (only one scan at a time).

Try using what Dieselman said. I'm sure it will work. It is a virus infection from a bad web page like a exploit or ads.

Check your plugin tabs if there are any unknown addon that is installed.
If there are please uninstall or remove it than scan with malwarebytes and superantispyware.

it may be the atapi.sys file which nothing really detects at the moment apart from dr web and hitman pro trial best way to fix this is to use the hitman pro trial

There is a very specific tool that Kaspersky developed called TDSSkiller that takes care of Atapi.sys infections.

Yes, it takes care of all types. It merely looks for patched files and replaces them along with other things.
