@SSS20 Yep, same server and I used Firefox on the first one.

Dan what security are you running because I know that KIS (Kaspersky Pure in my case) gives me false readings on the speed tester.

and ......do you feel that difference in the real world?..is your browsing speed greater with IE9 then with FF? :)

@SSS20 Slight difference between FF and IE9, maybe just my brain tricking me :P ... Pages do seem to load up faster in IE9 Beta.

I don't think I'll trust Speedtest .. doesn't seem to be always accurate.

My reading on an 8 meg connection from BT in the UK we all know this is wrong hehe. However it was fine when using other security suites other then KIS

Whoa i cannot expect it will be increased to 3 mbps caused my mother told to me that the ISP contact to her for an offer in Mbps. Before its only 256kbps.
