When it's paid for if everything goes well I plan on dropping one of these into my pickup.

02 SS and Convertible

Postby Tweak » Sun Jul 04, 2010 5:02 pm

Both are 2002 model years, the SS and MX-5 are both slightly modded but more done to the SS. Both cars have 3 sets of rims and tires and the MX-5 now has new that I have no pics of yet. I am thinking about ditching the convertible and buying a Mercedes though currently.

Wrong location, should be under show your ride but I stopped and restarted and ended up hitting new topic instead of reply to topic, my apologies.

My speedo. 1st pic is cruising along.2nd pic is when a WRX wanted to run me. 3rd pic is me backing off after the WRX chickened out when he heard my Super Charger spoil up. :D Kinda hard taking a picture and driving with one hand at 100MPH. :o

It seems that not many are willing to break that 100MPH zone although so long as not endangering other motorists that is where the real fun begins. 8-) Hopefully responses here without a pic (since it is already done above) is not an issue.

Never said I wasn't will to break it Tweak. I go over 100 MPH a lot. If you read what I wrote it clearly says "Its hard to go 100 MPH with one and a take a picture at the same time.

Tweak, someone lied to you... We have trucks that break 100mph. Dieselman being in the field, I'm sure he can tell you that a well tuned diesel can push past 100mph with proper transmission gearing. I don't mean anyting crazy like 160Mph though. :)

Jeep built a Grand Cherokee that does just over 150mph and people are pushing that hard. :)

You dont need to tune a Duramax to get it beyond 100 MPH. Stock my Duramax hit about 125. With all my mods I can hit around 150. I tend to drive my Grand Prix more since its cheaper on fuel. Lat time I filled my truck up it cost my $150.
