You need to install virtual tools or something, that's extra, look in the menu where is File, Edit, View, you'll find it there somewhere. After that, set a resolution or drag it however you like...

That could be a bit misleading to the OP, the reinstall is just like doing a huge Windows Update, its not like having to install an upgrade from VIsta to 7.

You don't really need an AV for Linux itself, but if you're dual booting you might want to get one to make sure nothing you download has windows malware that could infect the windows partition. I think there are a couple free Linux AVs. I'm pretty sure AVG has one, and there's always clamAV...

If you your PC become infected. It wouldn't infect your dual boot, since Windows malware does not run in linux. And it has no where to store its self.

There are Linux viruses. Mostly all of them, are not a concern anymore, since they are patched. But, you don't have to worry about Windows viruses.

Did you already setup a dual boot?

If you did make sure Ubuntu is up to date. And you have your firewall enabled.

If want the easier way(GUI), to enable the firewall.

Open up the software center - Search ufw in the search bar(should only be one program listed) - Click that program - Install it - Then go to the System tab, then click Administration - Find the program that says "Firewall Configuration" - Click that program - Then hit Enable.

Then your firewall is turned on.

And I'm pretty sure you could just type in "sudo ufw enable" without quotes in terminal. To enable the firewall. The GUI version is cool, its easy to block / allow connections.
