Its not a Walmart router. Duh..............Its a link to where he can purchase one. And if if you read the article you would see the words "easy setup".

Facts back up answers. Opinions backup nothing.

FYI................Telling me that Cisco makes routers for Linksys is like telling the President that he is black.

You need to stop complaining, Dman. A member can make rational choice on their own, based on our suggestions. You are not the only one here with ideas. That is what a FORUM is for; sharing ideas. You are not the only knowledgeable person in here.

Apparently I am cause no one else can answer a post knowledgeably. So if some one asks "What car is economical?" your going to answer that based on your OWN experience and not actual facts like a Prius. Lol.

No sense in going any farther cause he took MY advice. The next time some asks a question answer it with actually facts and not opinions.

Ok ZOU..............Lets look at it your way. In my opinion, based on past experiences, rebuilding an engine is easier then replacing it. So I guess everyone should do the same.

Since no one but you is capable of a knowledgeable answer, maybe you should be the only member at rM. Shall the rest of us resign?

Please stop with the car analogies. We know your are the foremost expert when it comes to cars, and tech issues.

Not the point. Its advice. Just answer with the best knowledgeable answer possible. If its not something your unfamiliar with then don't bother answering. Its that easy. Tweak only replies when necessary.

Yes, Tweak replies when necessary. You reply at will and expect no one else to contribute. Why don't you start your own forum. You are not a team player. It is all about you and your ideas, which is not a relative aspect pertinent to rational forum functions.

BTW: I am answering based on knowledge and experience. Just because I do not possess your knowledge and experiences, it does not mean that you are the only member that can respond to a member that has an issue or dilemma.

It is evident that you want rM all to yourself. Knock yourself out, but don't expect me to comply with your irrationality.

A team player makes the right decisions based on facts. You reply based on an opinion. I replied with a knowledgeable statement based on FACTS. mhl6493
liked my reply so he went with what I said. End of story. Dont get angry if you lack the knowledge to answer a topic properly. Learn from it and educated yourself to provide a better answer next time. Part of growing up is knowing when we are wrong and then learning from our mistakes.

You had a problem with my LInksys suggestion. I have used Linksys for around two years. My parents have as well. Is two years not enough to satisfy you when it comes to said suggestion?

Nonetheless, I am not here to satisfy you. I am here to learn and (or) to make suggestions, like everyone else.

FYI: It has nothing to do with "growing up". It has to do with proper etiquette in helping others. You need to stop discriminating against others based on age. Besides, I am 37, so bash someone else based on "growing up" or how young they might be.

A member asks a question. They deserve the best answer possible based on FACTS. if you cannot provide the best answer possible then dont bother replying. Its that easy.

Are you implying that you are the only member that knows the facts on any given tech related topic? You seem to know everything, thus you should start your own forums where you, and you only, make all the suggestions.

Maybe you have it that way already. You have discouraged nearly every one else from contributing. It is a good thing that you are self-employed.
