updating servers came online last night I guess, so updates are rolling again. As much as comodo says the av is good I will not believe them until I see something like MSE has, check it out http://www.virustotal.com/analisis/c04b ... 1246718108 if they want to be the best this is how it has to be, they have to be in the top ten of response time for new threats but they have yet to be there. Once I found malware that on VT 40 out of 41 detected it and comodo was the only one who didn't. This was it http://www.virustotal.com/analisis/f683 ... 1246170287 I still love the firewall and D+ and I am still using it, just not the AV for the moment.

I a100% agree with you languy. Comodo is a top firewall and HIPS product. But no where near the top for an av to trust and use everyday. If you even noticed when Matt tested the latest CIS it was D+ that caught the majority of everything not the av.

I can't figure out of Comodo is using alot of ressources on their malware research team, or if they are just spending a few bucks.

They update 2000-3000 samples (according to their update pages) every day almost. That is not many.
New virus? PM me.

When is Comodo gonna realize that people do not want a toolbar installed especially by a company that claims "we are building trust". Sounds extremely contradictory to me. :o

We are not going anywhere with this subject. Has been discussed before..... ;)
A fool with an antivirus tool is still a fool.
If you can't convince them, confuse them.
The last thing I want to do is insult you. But it IS on the list.

I didn't see Melih say that, and unclassified malware is still there. ;)
