Depends on what's important to you.
KIS is better security.
ESS is lighter.

KIS is all-inclusive, don't even try running anything else alongside it.
If you're wanting to rely on a single resident application to secure your PC, look no further.

ESS offers you the ability to add something else to the equation, such as Sandboxie, Threatfire, etc.

To answer the question concisely and accurately, KIS.

Like, why ESET?

Because I haven't had any problems with it?

That still does not explain anything. Can you elaborate on why you think ESS is better then KIS? How can ESS be better when it lacks hundreds of features that KIS has. ESS has a poor firewall, very poor actually. No behavior blocker and no HIPS. It also has no Parent Controls. So .......................KIS wins hnds down no matter how you roll the dice.

;) Hi! Let me tell you something, becouse i'm sure it'll gonna help you. I used eset smart security and i tried kaspersky too. I found a place where i read about all these and it seems that kaspersky is rated no 1. There is here a top antivirus and it's amazing, i found out a lot of things. -link removed- is about reviews and maybe you'll know the answer of your question

Mod edited. Link removed, site is not recommended.

Welcome to our forum! Thank you demen for your advise but we don't need their kind of help.
A fool with an antivirus tool is still a fool.
If you can't convince them, confuse them.
The last thing I want to do is insult you. But it IS on the list.

I changed my mind. The best AV is no AV.

KIS wins and you need an AV or some sort of HIPS

I believe KIS comes with a HIPS. It is called "Application control". I've found it to be very useful. KIS beats ESS because it has some more features, better prevention rate and a better firewall.
