KIS can easily be configured to block EVERYTHING unknown.
No prompt that someone could answer incorrectly, etc.
Just blocks.
Anti-Executable functionality.
Add the Behavior Blocker and KIS's own HIPS into the mix and I believe you have a winner.

CIS can do the same too. their parental control feature allows you to suppress notifications, and just block everything unknown. with no pop-ups, whatsoever. 8-)

Yes, that's true.
I imagine you can go in and unblock something benign if need be as well, like KIS allows you to.
But the weak AV and the lack of behavioral analysis (aside from the trigger happy heuristics) make it subpar when compared to KIS, IMO.

1.CAV comes whit Defense+ and Sandbox features.
2.Comodo sandbox works great. The only thing that they need to do is to show what is run in sandbox.
3.CAV detection rate is very good.

What happens when someone downloads something they want, eg. MSN_Smiley_Pack.exe.
The weak COMODO AV misses it.
They allow the Defense+ alert, if any, because they trust the source or worse yet, they trust CIS's AV to protect them.
Or they just really want it lol.
What happens then?
Sure, they might get one of Defense+'s cryptic alerts when they go to install it, but chances are they'll just Allow, Install Mode, Remember my answer.

Behavior Blockers, good ones, are just as important as a good HIPS, you ask me. ;)

ALookingInView, would you care to explain to me how KIS would have dealt with the situation you posed above?
