Of course we all say the review but until CAV is test and ranked by companies such as AV Comparatives then there is not much to say. CAV is not strong enough yet to stand on its own.

alright guys, i'm still not convinced. we're arguing in circles. but good points on both sides, i appreciate it a lot.

i have used KIS for about 4 months before, and i heavily recommend it to my friends and clients. it's one hell of a beautiful security suite, integrating all forms of protection in one.

CIS is growing fast, and maturing at a steady rate. give it time, and you will all be sure of a clear winner.

but i'm not shifting my stand, CIS is still a winner to me.

Yes Diselman ,i agree whit you...the av need to be tested by av-comparatives to see wich is his detection rate.But in the real world,when you download and install CAV you also install Defense+ and the sandbox feature...so you will be well protected.

Yes, COMODO does provide excellent overall protection in the right hands.
I just feel that KIS is better, especially for the average user.
For the tech-savvy user, I should think either will suffice quite well.

People keep stressing that CIS is better cause its free. Well I got my KIS 3 user 2 year license for $20. That to me is free. If you cannot afford to spend $20 on a pc that cost you $1,000 then you have some serious issues.

Ha ss, poor avast, i honestly forgot that they were even apart of poll! But if avast doesnt put in a hips or BB into their suite and a decent firewall, its hard to feel bad for them, but im sure avast will get it right eventually.

When it comes to CIS and KIS, theres 2 things i look at.. Overall prevention of malware, and Value. As a whole KIS is a better product hands down, you can argue about this all day but KIS has more protection than CIS and many many more features.

On the value side, hands down CIS is the winner, the second best suite out there and its completely free!

I think its a bit ignorant,no offense, to say that CIS is the best (dont get me wrong i love CIS, i basically have the suite - CAV and replace it with avast) because it just doesnt have the features of KIS.

In the end though they both will protect you from any kind of malware out there, and thats whats important, but KIS does this easier and more efficiently.
