eh... mse is also in a cloud but also uses signature... its a hybrid.

It doesn't detects malware with cloud signatures, only submits suspicious files.
A fool with an antivirus tool is still a fool.
If you can't convince them, confuse them.

I honestly dont really get whats the big deal about cloud vs signature.. cloud is just signatures on some other computer instead of your own. only advantage is you know you always have the latest definitions although that becomes useless if your computer becomes infected via usb and its not connected to the internet...

Panda can detect malware without connecting to their server. So it's also a hybrid if some wonder.

Panda's detection rate is extremely poor. When you consider how long Panda has been around and how long MSE has been around its amazing. MSE is only a year old but yet has a better protection rate then Panda which has been around for at least 7 years now.

Incorrect.

Although Security Essentials replaced OneCare, Microsoft has been in the AV market for some time.

MSE IS NEW. Plain and simple. Just made last year. Microsoft is still the new guy here when compared to Panda.
