BOO!!!!

Kaspersky > Norton. Just sayin'!

I've had waaaay too many bad experiences with Symantec products to ever give them a penny of my money ever again. And KIS's detection is soooo much better. Also I found KIS to be MUCH lighter on the system than NIS both in RAM and CPU Usage. :)

KIS 2012 will make all other AV vendors step it up a notch. ;)

But it's your machine... KIS will be there for you when you come crying back home! :D

Yeah. Just keep up a backup of everything in case you get infected.

I have never had problems with Norton. I think you'll like Norton. Let us know what you think of it, but just not here since this is the how is my config section. ;) See ya in the Norton section.

One thing I like about Kaspersky that Norton lacks is a sandbox. But since I got sandboxie a month or so ago, that is no longer an issue.

techgeek88, quite the Kaspersky nut are we? :) Nothing wrong with that: to each his own!
Protection: Norton Internet Security 2011 Aggressive Heuristic, Boot time, and SONAR
Malwarebytes Pro
Sandboxie
Norton DNS
On demand: Hitman Pro, SuperAntiSpyware
Browser: Firefox

Yes I am... I'm the biggest Kaspersky fan in the world! I just have had wayyyyy too many bad experiences with Norton/Symantec and I really love Kaspersky's detection and updating and all of that. I also find it to be lighter on my system than Norton IS in both RAM and CPU usage. Norton would spike both on a regular basis when I tried it, Kaspersky does not. Kaspersky could sell water and I'd buy it! :D I just really like their products. I like their HQ too (out of Moscow, Russia) and I like all of their security lab stuff and they seem to be on the cutting edge of malware detection, prevention, and removal. I could go on and on why I just love Kaspersky and why I find it to be better than any other product, but I won't! I'll just leave it as that I'm a huge Kaspersky fan and I should be getting paid for the promotion I do! ;)

This isn't A vs. B. Please leave all topics comparing two or more products there.

I was just recommending that he stay with KIS. That's why it's called "How Is My Config", so people can give suggestions. I was just saying from previous experience.

That's ok, I'll keep on talking KIS and promoting it in my own config thread! ;) :D I don't need anyone to tell ME that KIS isn't good, so I'm staying out of the A and B for now.

How's that for a reply?!
