Online Armor Release 3.5.0.14 - 1st May 2009

Postby Dieselman » Sat May 02, 2009 2:16 am

Mike Nash sent me an email asking me to come back to OA. Version 3.5.0.9 was released but I guess was not official tested. Now version 3.5.0.14 is up and running. Awesome improvements. Far less pop ups then Comodo. Outpost was blocking too many of my programs but still a great firewall.

1163 Resolved (Fixed) Exclusions list column headers bug
1158 Resolved (Fixed) OA tries to restore non existent file
1168 Resolved (Implemented) Popup Optimization
1169 Resolved (Implemented) HIPS improvement
1170 Resolved (Fixed) Network detection tuning
1155 Resolved (Fixed) folder leftover build 3.5.0.9
1180 Uninstaller issue not progessing
1184 Resolved (Implemented) HIPS improvement (mouse control)
1185 Resolved (Implemented) add exclusions to the free version
857 Resolved (Fixed) Steam - GameOverlayUI.exe crash (Exclude directory added to OA Free)

Hi Guys - just a note that build 14 has been released, and will go onto the update servers progressively over the next few days.

Yes. Outpost did not work with a lot of my programs. Mike Nash is a good guy so I thought I would take him up on his offer.

Why does every god damn build of OA bring new problems. Come on now. After every reboot OA does not remember programs despite having remember checked off.

Ok did a complete uninstall and reinstall but when I got to the Safety Check Wizard I select the option to "run the wizard". Normally I select the "trust everything" option so there will be no pop ups.

Heck with all these issues I might as well use Comodo.

UUUUUUUUUUUUUGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH. I cannot deal with this anymore. Why,why, why is OA so buggy. Going back to Outpost. I got an email from them how to get EVGA Precision to work with Outpost's HIPS.

don't use comodo, I have stopped using it for the time being. Not because it is a bad program but because I keep seeing posts being deleted on the forum if anyone disagrees with any of the comodo staff/practices. I will give it one more chance after the final release of 3.9 (may 12) but if nothing has changed I am done with them.

That's very true but please don't start a thread about this subject or i will close it.. We don't judge Comodo forum,it's their forum, rules and moderators ;) .
A fool with an antivirus tool is still a fool.
If you can't convince them, confuse them.
The last thing I want to do is insult you. But it IS on the list.
