Weird Thing!!

Postby InfraRedSkittle » Sat May 30, 2009 1:47 pm

Hello, I have been experiencing some weird sound that comes out of my speakers. When I'm on my computer there would be a voice and it would say "loser". I Googled for it and there was a couple of things that came up but no solutions. I have scanned my computer with numerous things and no luck I have made a Hijack Log see if you guys find anything.. It's pretty weird..

Hi mate,

Well i've read carefully your log and i didn't see anything dangerous.
I know some Trojan can do that, the hacker just write the word and then you hear it, or a hacker may play hidden wav file on your computer to make you scary.

BUT, as i said, your log doesn't say anything dangerous, however if you are really infected by an unknown threat, i recommand you to go boot on safe mode and to do Hijackthis again, because if the threat is protected by a Rootkit, you won't detect anything.

If you're not sure, you may Download Dr. Web Antivirus 5.0 Boot CD which is really nice because there is an Update features so you can keep that disc safely and use it when needed.
By using Boot disc, there is no way of such malware to be loaded with your system.
Download Dr Web Antivirus 5.0 Rescue Disc

Looks fine except that you have a lot of needless things running in the back round. Google Updater and all that Apple stuff can go .

Try going to Control Panel >>
[If you are in the category view] Click Sound Speech, and Audio Devices >> Under Pick a Task..choose change the sound scheme
Under Program Events play all the sounds and listen to see if you hear the loser sound.
