How is this different from WOT?

I can't see any, though I'm probably missing something.

WOT is different. Prevx is quote from their site:

Nothing can guarantee to stop 100% of malicious threats.

Malicious software developers are constantly testing and developing new methods to evade detection. When a PC is infected with a stealth piece of malware it is possible that information entered on it, stored on it, or displayed on it, could be copied and stolen through the Internet browser.

To protect information being stolen while browsing on an unknowingly infected PC, we developed Prevx SafeOnline. Prevx SafeOnline will protect your information entered in or displayed by your Internet browser, by locking down the operating system and services to ensure that only "known good" processes and services are allowed to run.

Prevx Safeonline can be used separately to harden your browser defenses, or included as a module of Prevx 3.0.

If you want to use it good, I'm not forcing you.

Ah right, sorry, should've read that.

It's free, might as well use it.

I tested it and yes it does. It's like using the full program only without the removal capacity of some malware,it only detects and warns you about it.

Yeah, it just runs as Prevx.exe
It's just Prevx 3.0 with safeonline enabled, other than that it's the same as the free version of Prevx.

Apparently if you become a fan you get a license key though, presumably for the full product.

Uses around 26K of memory. Seems quite a lot for a cloud-based application.
