I don't blame anyone...Avira is a serious company and we are talking about childish pranks. How many users who would want to buy Avast will buy Avira especially when they get redirected ? They will think it's a scam and it's not Avira or Avast site. I'll go tomorrow to buy an Mercedes and end up with Renault. Yeah right.....
A fool with an antivirus tool is still a fool.
If you can't convince them, confuse them.
The last thing I want to do is insult you. But it IS on the list.

Well apparently they've had the domain since 2006.
Why though is anyone's guess.
