SandboxIE is good and free, I can't find a single reason to use ZA force field...
Imo, Defensewall should be classified as HIPS

Well, maybe you should test ForceField out for a little bit, it does have things such as spy site blocking.

Forcefiled is a joke. It runs about 6 processes adding up to about 50,000K and bogss your pc down like crazy.

These are all the ones I'm aware of at the moment asides from Sandboxie:

I've tried out both Buffer Zone and Virtual Sandbox when I started out looking for a virtualization program to complement my other security software - both bogged down the system considerably from what I remember.

Sandboxie may not have the most user-friendly GUI, but it also has the least amount of impact on system performance IMO. Still using to this day and hope that it'll be ready for Windows 7.

I tried ZA FF and was amazed at how much memory it was using. It really didn't have too much of an effect on my browsing speed, but I was really just underwhelmed by the interface.

The program is no longer developed or supported, true, but it remains available as a free program for personal use. I've read comments that it may not be the paragon of stability, but as with all individual systems, YMMV.

I belive i got a virus from sandboxie

I ran an installer in sandboxie, then avast started warning, i imedintly went to sandboxie, terminated the process, deleted the virual harddrive, and then scaned my computer, and apparently i had a couple trojens or something running. I dont think they were in procces, but after, i kept scanning, each time they would dtect something, so i dont think the virual hard drive works yet. Then i installed avira, and it delted the crud

Is there any really good sandboxing software that is tottaly free, and compatible with regualr av programs
