Free? Paid? Your OS has nothing to do with this either. Both firewalls are equal. OA is more user friendly.

OA being new for x64 I haven't seen much but am looking to see someone post some information on the resource usage more than anything else so if someone tests this (outside VM preferred) that'd be great. I googled this early this morning and everything I came across was rather outdated.

OA don't have support for vista 64 only 7 64

Online Armor Premium runs on Windows XP SP3 (32bit), Vista SP2 (32bit) and 7 (32bit & 64bit).

I tried the Comodo about 2 months ago in a 5 yr old XP laptop. It was my 1st experience with an after market firewall. I installed it, and within 1hr I had the laptop unusable. There were so many pop-ups that I didn't understand, and I got worried, so I clicked deny to svchost..............Apparently that was important! So I uninstalled it, and my laptop worked again.

It's probably great for an experienced user, but for me (Joe average) it was way to much info, all the time.

Online Armor firewall is best for users who can't answer complicated popups. So it really depends on who's using the firewall.
