Exactly, the full screen is nice but the overall layout and even some buttons being changed make this much less user friendly I think, I appreciate the work being done don't get me wrong, but I would prefer to option to choose which look I want to use. I am not familiar with phpBb offerings but most forums have a few different skins/themes so users could pick which suits them best. 8-)

IMO the new Thanks for post MOD is much more important than the theme. And I am not sure if the previous theme (Blue Silver) is compatible with the latest phpbb version.

Switching to a fixed-width layout is also possible with minor changes, although I like it this way.

Guys we are doing some maintenance on the forums in the next hours.So you may experience some side effects.
As a side news.....today is the day in which we eliminate the "Spam" from this forums.
