Finally, an AntiVirus and Anti-Malware all-in-one package that actually cleaned every piece of malware in our malware test PC. Spyware Doctor with AntiVirus is my number one choice for cleaning viruses, spyware, trojans and adware. I've used it on about 30+ clients in St. Louis with 100% success. I hope the pc tools team can keep making quality antimalware products like this.

Here is my "little workhorse". SuperAntiSpyware is a must have second opinion after your main antvirus and if you buy the professional version it is compatible with your real-time antivirus!
MalwareBytes Anti-Malware
MalwareBytes Anti-Malware features daily updates, very fast scanning, 100% removal rates (so far), safe mode installer capable, always on scanner (if you buy the full version). MalwareBytes is my first choice of action while working with infected clients. It's speed, high detection rates and excellent removal capabilities allows me to get in and out of appointments a lot faster.
ComboFix (windows XP only)
A collection of anti-malware utilities designed for Windows XP only. ComboFix removes malware and the changes they make to your system. Combofix does a really good job at removing malware and locked files and should ONLY be run on Windows XP after a complete virus scan.
HiJackThis
Mainly used as a diagnostic tool for an anti-malware Professional. I've had a little luck removing malware with HiJackThis, but I mainly use it as a diagnostics tool.
Avira AntiVirus

ThreatFire HID
ThreatFire is a Host Intrusion Detection anti-malware application. The free version does *not* remove malware, however it does terminate malware and infected processes. Threatfire is a great addon for your anti-virus package, but don't expect it to remove any malware (the professional version does).
