Microsoft has released 3 Critical Updates that should be applied immediately:
MS12-036 - Affects remote desktop. This sucks for me. Looks like I’ve got some servers to patch.
MS12-037 - Very nasty bug that affects all versions of Internet Explorer. Just visiting a page targeting this bug is enough to get infected by malware since the attacker will have the same rights as the visitor (which is usually an administrator)
MS12-038 - Pretty much the same as 037, however it requires a browser that can run XAML Browser Applications (XBAPs)
Amazon Fake Emails…
Watch out for fake Amazon emails with subjects like – “ Your Amazon.com order confirmation. ” Clicking on links in those email lead to sites hosting malware / exploits. Here’s a sample that hit our barracuda spam filter:
