A new config from Devin

I’ve been using on a laptop Twister AV with Sandboxie 3.38 on a laptop and so far its proven 100% effective against anything I’ve thrown at it. However, most of the test malware I have is fairly old so I have no way to test it against new exploits/malware. I have all internet facing apps run in their own sandbox with the “drop rights” selected for all files in the sandbox. Also, each sandbox is cleared upon exit. My main browser is SRWare Iron and Twister FDDS is set to minimum to minimize FP’s. All other settings in Twister are default and the OS is XP Pro with only 1 user setup and that having admin rights (necessary for some other apps onboard). Since yoiu always seem to have new URLs or malware to test with I wonder how this config will stand up?

Please +1 this post if you like me :)

I’ve never heard about Twister AntiVirus.
Matt, what about a review on Twister AntiVirus?
It would be great to know details about this new AV software.
    Thanks!

I suppose I need to give Twister a shot. I need to finish the G-Data review first though.

Thanks Matt for your attention on testing Twister!
I ask myself, why AV-Comparatives has not tested Twister yet?
I checked Virus.btn homepage and the last test they performed with Twister pointed many false positives:
