A new config from zes

Realtime:
- Avira Antivir Premium
- Comodo Firewall & D+
- Sandboxie

On demand:
- SuperAntispyware
- Malwarebytes
- A² AntiMalware

I feel pretty safe surfing the web, installing stuff … :-)

    Your really protected! Thats nice!

    Sounds like overkill to me.

Sounds like too much to me too. You don’t really need two HIPS apps, and they might conflict if you’re not careful. Avira Premium is probably the best antivirus you can get, but with a HIPS app, you don’t really need three antispywares. I’d scrap Comodo D+ but keep the firewall, then scrap A2 and Superantispyware

    Hello,

Thanks for the comments, but I feel I need to elaborate. The only HIPS i’m running is CIS (D+). The rest is on demand. 3 scanners might seem overkill, but in practice I’ve noticed they all find stuff on their own (usually zero-day malware).
Sometimes I let stuff pass the HIPS (in sandboxie) to see what it does. Then it’s handy to have those scanners do their job and search for leftovers.

It is not overkill. This is what a Windows user has to do to feel safe.
