      Hi Matt,

I found a cool program to review.
It’s called “Heimdal Security Free”, it’s a program that keeps your computer apps up-to-date and in the Pro version you even have a malware scanner and stuff.

I tested it and it works well, the Free version, though.
It keeps your software up-to-date, like Secunia PSI did, but faster, it only checks the software that needs an update.

I hope you will review it.

      Greetings,

      Pcfreakske2000 from Belgium, Europe

  20. Carl McDonnell March 26, 2013 at 6:07 am #

One of my favorite reviews is your test of F-Secure back in 2008. Remember that craziness? The whole machine went ballistic – you could barely even update, much less you a scan! It’s gotta be one of the biggest antivirus fails in your videos. Since the AV was so flawed in that regard, maybe you could see how it has improved over the years and try it on another infected PC.

  21. Justin March 26, 2013 at 3:49 pm #

Can I request a combo review? Avast v8 with PUP detection’s enabled on the shields with Winpatrol and with Exploitshield and UAC on normal settings. This is my setup and would enjoy seeing it tested. Thanks

On your Comodo Review, after part 3 that I just saw you could make a SCAN with COMODO and then with malwarebytes in “Windows Safe Mode Boot”… and after all this you could try HITMAN PRO… I would also like to see how COMODO would do against malware links…

And keep up the good work ! 🙂

  26. SuperSapien64 March 27, 2013 at 7:17 am #

I would love to see a custom malware prevention test video with SBIE (with EP mode enabled),Avast free or Avira free,MBAM Pro, Comodo FW free (with HIPS enabled) and Firefox with Adblock Plus and NoScipt installed.
And since SBIE basically blocks everything especially with experimental mode enabled though things can occasionally leak through so I like so see how well SBIE would hold up against some really aggressive malware and see if anything leaks though or not after the SBIE portion of the test then lets see how the real-time protection programs hold up Avast/Avira,Malwarebytes pro and Comodo FW against when downloading/recovering infectious files. 8-| 🙂

PS: If you have any problems with Comodo HIPS and SBIE just set a rule to allow these SBIE files:

    Start, SandboxieDcomLaunch, SandboxieRpcSs 😀

Hello Matt. So apparently, Hitman pro has their own antivirus, at least that’s what I think it is. It’s called HitmanPro.Alert 3.0 Don’t know if you’ve heard of it, but you can find it by going to hitman pro’s website and clicking on products. Would you please test that out and let us know if that would be another antivirus that you would recoomend to your clients? Could you then do a followup with Malwarebytes?
