If not for you, I would still be plagued by "swp2009", I was very surprised, but based on your recommendation and video of Malwarbytes...I gave it a try...I wasn't sure if it would actually catch the virus, since everything I've read didn't point to that outcome, and it seems that everyone is having the hardest time getting rid of "swp2009". I tried deleting the registry entries, not to mention that I have the free version of PC TOOLS "antivirus" and "threat fire" and it still seemed to make it into my computer. As soon as Malwarebytes went in, I followed your instructions, updated, and ran a full scan, it took 1.5 hours to complete, but it detected the "swp2009" very easily, I disabled my system restore, manually removed those files, stop the processes, and quarantined and removed the virus with Malwarebytes. Note: it wasn't until I used Malwarebytes to remove, that is when the virus did not show up again after rebooting my system. Thank you very much, Please just know that your effort has helped someone very much, and that they are truly greatful to you.
